Full-time employees enjoy a minimum of two weeks paid vacation leave each year. Vacation leave benefits carry over from year to year. Licensed professionals are granted three weeks paid vacation from date of hire. Most Registered Nurses advance to three weeks vacation after twelve months. Other employees advance to three weeks after three years of service. Paid holiday leave is provided for the seven major holidays. Sick leave is earned per pay period to provide you with the assurance of continued income in the event you become ill or injured.
Philhaven supports you in pursuing required continuing education credits. Time off with pay to attend programs that fulfill continuing education is provided. Cost of seminar/conferences, travel requirements and lodging will be covered as approved. Philhaven also pays for the cost of membership dues in one career-related professional organization. Many employees obtain all required training right here at Philhaven through the many programs offered in the beautiful new Grace M. Pollock Training & Community Center.
Our tuition assistance program will reimburse you up to $3,000 per year for college credits with a maximum of $9,000 lifetime.
Employees who are employed to work at least 20 but less than 32 hours per week participate in a more limited range of benefits. You may elect to enroll yourself and dependents in the health benefit plan. Prorated paid leave benefits are provided and you can participate in the retirement savings plan.
