STAP offers three programs to meet the needs the individualized needs of children and adolescents:
STAP - Anxiety Focused
This STAP is designed for children ages 6-12 with a specific anxiety-related disorder, as diagnosed by a licensed psychologist or physician. It will help young people with anxiety issues or obsessive-compulsive behaviors to succeed in activities in the home, school and community settings. Our staff to client ratio is 1 to 4.
STAP - Disruptive Behaviors Focused
This STAP is designed for children ages 6-12 with a specific disruptive behavioral disorder, as diagnosed by a licensed psychologist or physician. Behaviors such as defiance, bullying, temper tantrums and rule breaking; and difficulties with finding acceptance, making and keeping friends, and working through conflicts will be addressed so that the young person can succeed in the home, community and school settings. Our staff to client ratio is 1 to 4.
STAP - High-Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
This STAP is designed for children and adolescents ages 6-15 with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders (HF-ASD) who may show specific needs for improving social skills and interactions or reducing repetitive or stereotyped patterns of behavior. A clinician will assess your child’s functioning level of Autism and social development skills so that appropriate placement may be made. It is preferred that referrals should have previous FBA completed to aid in the treatment planning process. Designed for children and adolescents ages 6-15 who need a bridge between school years, our highly structured program provides the necessary skills to maintain emotional and behavioral progress. Our professional staff has a wide background in clinical social work, nursing and metal health counseling. Our staff to client ratio is 1 to 3.
